Global Recognition for Epilepsy Pioneer

The ESA was delighted to hear  that the 2012 The Asia-Pacific Women in Science Laureate was awarded to Professor Ingrid Scheffer, Chair of Pediatric Neurology Research, Melbourne Brain Centre, for her outstanding work in the field of epilepsy. Ingrid is only the fifth Australian to have been awarded with this honour.  Ingrid, of course, needs no introduction to members of this Society, and it is great to see that Ingrid’s sheer brilliance in the field of clinical research has been recognized with such a great accolade. We would like to pass on our congratulations to Ingrid. For further details click here
