Membership

The Society is a professional organisation for Australian clinicians, scientists and technologists involved in the diagnosis, treatment and research of epilepsy.

For a modest annual subscription fee, members are eligible for:

Reduced registration fees for the Annual Scientific Meeting
Reduced subscription rates for epilepsy journals through the ILAE
Access to ESA funded educational resources eg. Masterclass, website
Travel scholarships, clinical fellowships and other awards

Membership follows the financial year, thus membership for the year 2008-2009 will commence from July 1, 2008.

The fee to become a member of the ESA is $165.00 (inc GST) for consultant neurologists and full-time academic staff. A reduced subscription of $82.50 is available to trainees, students, nurses, technologists, psychologists and other allied health workers. Please note that epilepsy lay workers, industry representatives and New Zealand health professionals are ineligible for ESA membership.
