Due to production and supply problems, IV Epilim has not been readily available in Australia, despite it being registered with the TGA. These problems are ongoing and thus, sanofi-aventis is unlikely to launch IV Epilim in 2008 and has withdrawn the product from MIMS listing. IV Epilim will hopefully become readily available in Australia once a new European production facility comes on line. Further information can be requested from Mr Garry McCarthy (CNS Sales Manager, sanofi-aventis) or Dr Nick Fletcher (CNS Medical Associate, sanofi-aventis).
