The Neurosciences Research Group comprises clinical neuroscientists, neuropsychologists and computer scientists. The group's main interests include:

  • Brain imaging: The use of brain imaging to study the structure and function of the brain in health and disease. The diseases studied include epilepsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury and genetic disorders of brain function.
  • Developing new imaging tools: Developing new tools to study the brain using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and imaging modalities such as PET and MRI.
